                    IEEE Bangalore Section was established in 1977 and is one of the most vibrant and dynamic IEEE Sections across the globe.
                    Over the years the strength of the section has grown steadily and currently the Section membership stands at more than 8600.
                    This membership is spread across various sectors and has a nice blend of Industry, Academia and Research organizations.
                    IEEE Bangalore Section won the prestigious MGA Outstanding Large Section Award (2013 & 2019) and
                    R10 Distinguished Large Section Award for the year 2013.
                </p>

                <h3 class="text-center">IEEE Mangalore Sub-Section</h3>
                <p class="text-justify">
                    IEEE Mangalore Sub-Section, a Sub-Section of IEEE Bangalore Section, was formed on 19th April 2014 with the aim to conduct
                    various student and professional activities like invited talks, student internships, workshops and conferences.
                    The Engineering Colleges from Mangalore, Udupi, Karwar, Shivamogga and Chikmagalur district come under this Sub-Section.
                    At present, it has more than 1000 IEEE Members in total including Professional and Student Members.
                </p>
