The MRU list of Visual Studio 2017 doesn't show any text for the MRU items.
Neither does clicking them open the solution.
However, the correct number of items is displayed.

I temporarily removed/disabled the MRU list, due to an invalid DataContext is provided by Visual Studio.
The issue is reported here:
https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/content/problem/52775/start-page-receives-invalid-datacontext-from-visua.html
