It would be very useful to be able to save PNGs in JS (and other platforms like PHP I guess).

Currently users have to rely on serverside hacks that are slow and buggy (see aduros/flambe#311).

I would prefer a PR than an issue, will most likely not have time to work on it.

Ok, I might take a stab at it soon. Just wanted to open an issue so it doesn't get lost :)

Actualy last posts from this: openfl/openfl#892 give answer how to fix this issue long ago

@gNikro the post you referenced talk about "inflate" whereas @aduros asks for "deflate" algorithm (compression)
I'll let this open in case someone want to contribute support for it
