Plugin name changes and error on starting on 3.34

Hello,

with QGIS 3.28 the plugin names for the geometry checker have changed. The PR #122 proposes a solution for that. In addition since 3.34 the plugin will not start. Apparently the methods for writing to the project have changed and need a little tweak, which can be found in #122 as well. Sorry for not creating two PR for that, this is kind of new to me ...
