A simple work around is for example uci set "owm.settings.postal_name= ", no other value needs to be set. Problem might be in own-update script, since it gives some errors, which disappear, when the work around is applied. Didn't debug it yet.

Please supply a copy of the owm config file from /etc/config/owm
