Any thoughts on Multi-Scrobbler becoming a scrobbling destination itself?

Maloja is (was?) a promising self-hosted option, but hasn't seen any updates in a long time.
Any thoughts to building that functionality into MS?

I have no plans to implement MS as a scrobble storage application. I have had thoughts about implementing a scrobble app but if I was ever to do it it would be a separate application. MS does what it does well. Even though I'm the (basically) sole developer right now, the implementation process for a new Source or Client is pretty straightforward and I'd like to keep that barrier low in the event other contributors want to come in. Shoehorning in full scrobbling storage functionality would likely complicate the code.

WRT Maloja -- there has been a little work from forks on maloja that would be useful if they were all merged and maintained. @duckfromdiscord has been planning a maintained fork for awhile now, as well.
