The purse is a feature I'd probably never use on a server, but other people might want to use it.

The purse works as a 'safe bag' for items that the player can receive.

The items in the purse can never be dropped or lost.

You can not put items inside the purse by dragging them in there.

Is used for premium scrolls on real tibia.
