Look into the new widget and consider creating a bounty issue for it.

A rep from Filepicker emailed the bounty email address:

I see you still haven't installed the snippet onto your site. You will not be able to get the full value of filepicker without the snippet installed in your html layout.

I assume the snippet has something to do with the new widget version, but the email lacked any kind of context.
