Reading view discards too much when loading

When moving between chapters of a work on the reading view, the title and table of contents disappear along with the content, showing only "Loading", and then everything refreshes.

It's fine for now, but @atrigent would like to see only the content itself say "Loading" meanwhile the title and table of contents remain populated appropriately (or populate sooner).
