Hello! Thank you for the feedback. Could you elaborate or provide an example on what you mean that the contents are different? As for the container directory, it's an explicit choice, because if you extract the tarball you don't want a random LICENSE file laying around. If by package name you mean the tar or zip filename, the version number is also an explicit choice, because that way different version can be told apart. As far as I know that's consistent with most releases on GitHub. |

I added redirect links for specific and latest releases. They point to the same artifacts as before, but you can save them to a fixed name, at which point the version won't be in the way. https://dl.filippo.io/age/latest?for=linux/arm64 |

Hello folks,
As part of the v1 release, could you please improve how releases are packaged and named?
This will improve how Age installation is added to scripts, Dockerfiles, etc.
Some observations that make it difficult as-is are:
So, it would be great if scripting and automation friendliness is incorporated early on, as right now it is not straightforward.
