[📺 Broken Stream]: Broken stream on most channels #40
Comments
I haven't personally made any contributions in a while, don't tend to watch TV and it is a cat and mouse game. I intend to potentially abandon this project tbh once Freely launches. I'll tag @dp247 to see whether they can do anything (thank you in advance) |
Same tbh, either that or generate an M3U off the back of it lol.
There's a project on my profile with a working list that I've been adding to. I probably won't get a chance to copy and paste it here (at least not for a while), but its there lol |
Thanks for your replies. |
Never had a project that people has recommended to others (most of my stuff usually just sits there with no attention lol). I'll see whether I can get the working list @dp247 was talking about here. Which repository is it by the way? |
Never mind I think I found the right one. I'll get BBC channels working later on and sort what I can later on. I wonder whether reverting to a previous version of the list would be helpful since I'm fairly sure some channels should work being reverted to how they were. |
I think I'd rather try and revert. Channels with the no stream video (which I've just found out about) will have that removed in the process. |
Reverting to commit da40203, hopefully it doesn't cause too much damage |
Radio channels should still be broken, I'll see whether we can get those back to old links if possible (not sure why they're broken) |
Older links don't work either, wonder why the BBC has made these changes lol |
Seems like it's also broken on @dp247's iptv-cutter repository (I'm looking at that one but I don't actually know whether it is that one to refer to) |
Managed to find more updated ones on IPRD |
Might be a crazy idea but I might see whether I can get ChatGPT to assist me with mostly replacing stuff It might save time idk |
Didn't want to be rude and just throw it here, but it's this one |
Yeah no.
chatgpt only did those 6 links lol) I still would have to do a lot. Still haven't found many uses of ChatGPT or Copilot other than a search engine at times |
Hahaha, I'll get round to it eventually if you don't do them all lol |
Thanks for all the work. Eternally grateful |
Could you please add 5Select (http://45.153.35.210:8000/play/UK_5_select_sd/index.m3u8) and Channel 4Seven (http://176.65.146.170:8013/play/a06p/index.m3u8) to the list? These streams seem to work fine, but are not available in the list. Thanks a bunch |
I've been doing some digging into Freely, and found some related domains that may end up being useful. Freely itself has a development subdomain (I won't drop the domain here, otherwise it'll end up being hammered by the internet at large), but this likely has nothing to with the streams themselves and is locked away behind a fairly straightforward login. However, I did find a link to img.freeviewplay.tv - which may end up being tangentially related. The domain itself has no A records, but I could picture stream.freeviewplay.tv or something similar being the multicast endpoint for the live streams. Someone with better skills than I might be able to figure something out from that, all I did was query domain records. |

Additional information
Really appreciate the work you're doing with providing us these amazing UK TV streams. Unfortunately, none of them seam to be working (only Sky News and GBN work)
Are there any relevant broken stream reports on IPTV-org/iptv?
No response
To prevent spam reports, we need to know whether you are viewing within the UK. The majority of channels are unavailable to viewers outside of the UK, and they may be unavailable to viewers using a Virtual Private Network. We also ask you to check that a stream works within VLC, since it may be an issue with your application.
