Some work on this has been done in the issue linked below.

Would like to also add:

  • marker type selection
  • marker size selection
  • marker color selection

This Living Systematic Review has a great example of what we want to work towards. Additional animation options, opacity selection, etc: https://f1000research.com/articles/8-1433
