We need to figure out how to deal with controls in sdb.

  1. Need to touch base with Eric who had worked on a plan with Seve, not sure if there were any decisions.

(sample org task force meeting notes) had some info on this

PLASMA controls (first step)

  • In sampleDB, all naive serum can go under study = MNP. all positive controls (KPS, Uganda blood bank donor) go under study = MEP.
  • Separately, have a file where StudySubjectUID is linked to all metadata (age, sex). Add this to the EPPIstudies sheet @jovinden will get this file together

DNA controls (first step)

  • Study = cultured parasite controls (need short code)
  • Separately, have file with metadata: strains, percentages, date collected, date extracted. @eneubauer29 to put this metadata sheet together.
