What does confidence mean in Zooma?

Haider Iqbal edited this page Oct 3, 2024 · 2 revisions

Zooma assigns "Confidence scores" to mappings. Confidence scores are assigned as follows for a string of text

High: Maps to single curated term Good: Maps to multiple curated terms OR maps to single non-curated term Medium: Maps to multiple non-curated terms Low: Default confidence level if none of the others apply.

Based on these confidence scores one can see that without a data source, Zooma will never give a high confidence score.
