Wish: More local tax fields #28486
Comments
Short term you could create some Complementary attributes in the proposal, order and invoice modules found under Home, Setup, Modules/Applications. Long term you could make a module for Dolibarr with mexican taxes |
It is posible to configure a calculated extrafield that acts like a tax? |
The way on LocalTax2 and LocalTax3 works is Just what we need. But we need 4 more LocalTax ;-) An extrafield is not a solution/workarround because only some vendors use some taxes, an other vendors use other taxes; not all at a time |
well, the rest of us does not need 110 localtax fields. You can add as many complemntary attributes as you want, even so many that each of your vendors have 10 fields each. |
I do not know |
I'm sorry I didn't explain myself correctly.
Well... I appreciate your interest on getting Dolibarr better your comments was very helpful |
Hi @PsyCrow-code |
Hi, @sonikf; up to 5 tax at same time |
Yes you are right @sonikf, but only 3 taxes at same time. It would be great if these fields were dynamic, I mean they can be added, that way you could add as many as you need. |
Are all taxes applied per line (product or service)? |
I'm using localtax2 & 3 per line (is the way dolibarr works) and it's ok
for me

Yes with extrafields as @JonBendtsen suggested. Unfortunately adding more localtaxes would be a tedious task |
Even if he added it in a mexican module? |
The code is already there what good replicating or wiring it in a module would do? |
Latin american countries have many different taxes too. Another difficult to use massively dolibarr in that region is there are no option to configure/choose taxes type fixed like stamp taxes have. There are some taxes have a fixed value, not percentual and that is not possible configure by lack of that option. I would like this request to be taken into account as well to further improve Dolibarr and make it more inclusive and adaptable. |
Feature Request
It whold be nice have more local tax fields; In Mexico we have more than 3 kind of taxes.
Tax 1: IVA
Tax 2: ISR
Tax 3: IVA retention
Tax 4: ISR retention
Tax 5: IC
Tax 6: IEPS
Tax 7: ISH
Use case
The local taxes is good tool, but for mexico is not suffiecient to cover all the cases for diferent kind of taxes
Suggested implementation
Each third party would have a checkbox to indicate which local taxes apply.
