hi,I'm using the latest version of this project.
and it can't get the mixed number width Latex such as '4\frac{1}{2}' rightly, the expression will be parsed as 4 * \frac{1}{2}.
i have no idea about the correctness of the Latex writting style.
so is there any way to solve this problem?

The short answer is that math-expressions does not support mixed numbers.
In math-expressions, one can express 4 and one-half as 4.5, 9/2, or 4+1/2. None of those will render as an expression like 4 1/2. As you observed, it will parse a text expression such as "4 1/2" or a latex expression such as '4\frac{1}{2}' as 4*1/2.
We don't have plans to add mixed number support. I wouldn't know how to determine when adjacent factors indicate addition (as in a mixed number) as opposed to multiplication (as we currently assume).
