Have so Guilds can Level up and earn rewards/perks from level milestones that unlock purchasable stuff with Gold. (can be seen as a new gold sink perhaps?)
On how to level up would work for all guild members collectively reaches x amount of kills
Partying and killing mobs as a guild gives Bonus Guild Exp
Partying with Guild Allies would also give Guild Exp but lower not a bonus amount as you would with your guild members.
A new task system similar to the current one we have with Alex for LUX instead it would be to earn Guild Exp which goes towards the guild.
I only have few ideas for rewards / unlockable purchasable stuff currently.
I was thinking it would be better to change the way some of the current guild stuff is purchased.
I feel like Guilds need some sort of expansion as there is never much being done with guilds, guilds currently are just treated as a bank we kinda need them spiced up and made more into what a guild should be, doing quests, earning reputation(i.e leveling)
Once tax for channels and roles actually come (feel like this has become a meme) there could be an actual be benefit towards paying for a channel weekly or monthly for guilds for their members.
Playing in your guild channel gives an additional bonus on either the base rewards of mobs or an additional bonus from leveling up your guild.
if level system
guild lvl 1 - 3% xp/gold bonus in the guild channel | additional 3% for each member of the party being a guild member and 2% for guild ally members.
guild lvl 5 - 6% xp/gold bonus in the guild channel | an additional 6% for each member of the party being a guild member and 5% for guild ally members.
guild lvl 10 - 9% xp/gold bonus in the guild channel | additional 9% for each member of the party being a guild member and 8% for guild ally members.
up to where you want to make the max guild level.
As said in the main post of this guild levels should take some time to level up, you could use ideas from Yuna's part with quest bosses that give xp to the guild.
(would for sure have requirements, something like 20 members minimum in the guild for it to start giving bonuses)
All of this helps guilds grow as a community and also bring activity to the main server even if it's in private guild channels.
