It seems like the most recent version of the extension (65535.65535.65535.12) isn't working properly. No matter if the extension is enabled or not, it automatically navigates to the next video in the playlist. I am using Firefox Developer Edition v131.0b9 on Windows 11 Pro.

Is this still a problem?
It might be that when a new version is downloaded, it breaks for a bit.
I had an email to that effect from a Chrome user recently.
