Is this repo diverging from the content of firmware_mod in the EliasKotlyar/Xiaomi-Dafang-Hacks repo?

I notice the install guide mentions using this repo as the basis for an SD card once the CFW is flashed, but I also notice the contents of this repo and that in the firmware_mod directory of EliasKotlyar/Xiaomi-Dafang-Hacks seem to have diverged.

Is there a better way to upstream changes between these two file systems, or is this repo now deprecated?
