When the Handle is misconfigured, all goes to hell.

I installed WebMVC and will dspace.cfg saying the handle was 123456789, and my sample items were installed with my University's prefix, it crashed every page view. I don't imagine that places will have mixed handles. But its not friendly to have such severe errors.
