Trying to create a fuselage with python API

We don't have an example that uses TiGL's curve and surface factories, but you can look at our test cases and examples for some CPACS files as inspiration:

Thank you for your reply. I am trying using curve and surface factories to build an aircraft. At the top of the aircraft, the surface is not closed, which is shown in the picture. Could you give some advice to solve this problem?

The surface factory is just that: It creates surfaces that are not necessarily closed.

I basically see two options:

1. You create enough surfaces to patch all holes and then use PythonOCC (https://github.com/tpaviot/pythonocc-core, see also https://github.com/tpaviot/pythonocc-demos) to sew the surfaces together and create a solid. If your profiles are planar, you could create planar end-caps/faces to close your geometry. If you want to close it with G1 or G2 continuity, the task is not trivial.
2. You use a CPACS file to define fuselage profiles and a fuselage. Then TiGL will create a solid with planar end-caps for you. You can also scale the sections or elements in the CPACS file to zero, thus closing the holes. Unfortunately, CPACS and TiGL currently don't have a flexible definition for fuselage noses and tails.
