Extract point series from dfsu 2d, using sel() or interp() different from MIKE Zero

I want to compare the effects of secnario on a few interested points.
Using ds.sel(x,y) returns the value of the nearest element, and using ds.intep() returns the interpolate values.
However, the extracted point series of both above methods are different from those using the data extration tool in MIKEzero.
I wonder is there any function that do the same job as data extraction tool?
