Player manual
This page contains various instructions and answers to questions players may have. Most of the information is covered on the main page, but anything I couldn't quite squeeze in there, is listed here.
If you're anything like me, the first thing you want to know is: "How do I become a vampire!?"
It's pretty simple. Get a zombie, vampire player or pigman to attack you. There's a 1/750 chance to contract bloodrot from an undead enemy. This might not seem like much, but considering the frequency of fighting zombies, it is faster than you might think.
"Why not skeletons?"
It seemed to make more sence to me to have physical contact with the mob to contract a disease.
"What's bloodrot?"
When you contract bloodrot, you have 10 minutes to cure yourself with a bottle of holy water. Unfortunately, you are also struck with weakness.
"Great, what after those 10 minutes?"
You will be a vampire. Unfortunately, your hunger will deplete extremely fast for 5 minutes after that. Make sure to have plenty of helpless farm animals willing blood donors ready. You can still be cured with a bottle of holy water at this stage, or if you die.
"Why is this so difficult D:?"
After this, you will never be as helpless again, and you will gain all sorts of powers. Yay :D. Unfortunately, you can't eat cake anymore. Or cookies. Are you prepared to face an eternity without cookies or cake? I thought so.
Here, I answer various questions I expect to get. Or not.
"Why do demons teleport to the top of the Nether when they warp through bedrock? Is this a bug?"
No. I thought it would add a nice use for this otherwise pointless space. Just imagine all the building space. Besides, it's a cool thought that they can access a "limbo" plane. No? Okay:(
"Why is demon momentum capped at 10? Is this a bug?"
Yes and no. It's a limitation of minecraft. The server doesn't like it when you multiply the player's speed by more than ten. It simply cancels it, and spams "Player move too fast" errors.
