Some users have reported seeing this error message on Final Cut Pro 10.6.7:

"Editing projects with 4K (or larger) resolution is not recommended on this computer. You may experience performance issues."

...even though their specs are MORE than adequate.

On Facebook, Andris Koemecs writes:

Hey, Apple, what the hell!? Why I got such info in Final Cut? 😃 I have latest macbook pro and with max power. I got this message first time in my life. I have done a lot editings in different macbooks for many years. But this was like a big joke from Apple

This issue seems to be resolved in Final Cut Pro 10.6.8.
