Credentials for Open Earth Toolbox Installation

Just downloaded the Open Earth Toolbox to my machine and in the process I hit a snag. Sharing my fix here in case it might help anyone else.

During step 6, if you haven't used the Open Earth Toolbox or any other Deltares software before, the SVN Checkout asks for authentication in the middle of the process.

I got my credentials by following this link and joining the open source software community portal. Then I got an email with username and password, which I entered into the authentication box to continue and complete the SVN Checkout.

The Appendix A in UserGuide_StationDesignToolbox has excellent installation instructions, and I figured out the fix to my snag using the resources at the bottom. Thanks for this awesome tool and great documentation!

Hi!
Still there are some problems of downloading open earth toolbox.
Most of time, it is stopped after downloading about 10G. It seems that it is not security issue.
I tried it several different places using different network but all fails during downloading.
Is there anybody who has same problems?
Also, I wonder if there are any other ways to install open earth tool box or to down load it from
different places.

@trkim117 I'm sorry you're having trouble with OpenEarth! I haven't seen that problem before. You may need to log into the Deltares portal and submit a ticket or post your issue on the forum.
