Karma is EOL and deprecated.

It was chosen as there is a lot of documentation and available features, but ultimately we need to replace it with something more modern.

There is a couple of projects they mention as possible replacement:

Minimal requirements (out of the box or via plugins):

Typescript support
Jasmine support
Typescript paths support
