To test it ESLint works:

  1. Go into the either frontend or backend folder first.

  2. Then:
    npx eslint [filename]

  3. Repeat for the other (something)end folder the same project on a file.

I also updated the README.md file if you want to inspect it.

I received error messages when attempting both frontend and backend uses of eslint. Fixing this required the installation of two npm packages: eslint-plugin-react-refresh for the frontend and globals for the backend. I've installed these packages and included them on the new eslint-offshoot branch, if you'd like to see if their inclusion breaks anything for you.

For now, I'll hold off on merging until we can ensure we won't run into any package issues.
