OpenEdge logging works just as it did in Classic: session attributes (e.g. logentrytypes, logginglevel) configured in the PAS instance.
The OE Log-Manager can be controlled by the log-manager:logging-entry-types, too. Log entries can be written from ABL using log-manager:write-message().
All ABL output (message statements, "**" errors, and log-manager messages) will be sent to the PAS "Agent" log.

The ABL OE Logging framework, available in the OpenEdge.Core.pl, allows for granular configuration of ABL application logging.
