I'm currently working through the process of provisioning a Kubernetes instance in CenturyLink Cloud.
While working through the Ansible playbooks I've found that the version of Kubernetes that gets installed is SEVEN minor releases out of date - it appears that the PR to have CenturyLink Cloud Provider support integrated into the Kubernetes codebase has been abandoned.

What if any effort is being made to provide Kubernetes support going forward given the proposal to refactor cloud providers entirely out of Kubernetes core as per https://github.com/kubernetes/community/blob/master/contributors/design-proposals/cloud-provider/cloud-provider-refactoring.md ?
