Respond slowly as a snail

Hi, I'm writing my thesis with Docear4word, the version of word is 2013 with docear4word updated. I've got 400 pages and hundreds of ciatations now. My issue is that everytime when I insert or update a ciation, Docear4word will spend at least ONE minute to respond. I don't know what's behind there, but can you pls check it and make it faster? Since I've got huge amount of citations, it's a big problem for me now.

I'm a new user myself and so can't really help you. However, a previous post noted that Docear4Word actually stores the abstract in Word (#3) and this still hasn't been fixed. With such a large number of references, perhaps this is causing your slow-down? You can quickly delete all the abstracts from your library using JabRef (go to "Search" menu, select "set/clear/rename fields", type in "Abstract" in field name, select "all entries" and "clear fields"). I hope that helps.
