Abstract

I aim to grow the Neo blockchain community in Vietnam(https://x.com/NeoCommunityVN) by hosting weekly giveaway events on X. Over six months, I plan to distribute 120 $GAS to reward active members, fostering engagement and increasing community participation.

Proposal Information

Description

This proposal aims to build a strong Neo blockchain community in Vietnam through regular engagement activities on the official X page of the Neo Vietnam community. I plan to organize four giveaway events each month for six months, distributing a total of 5 $GAS per event, shared among 10 winners. Over the course of the campaign, 120 $GAS will be distributed. This idea aims to attract people who are unfamiliar with Neo to join the community, reward active members, and raise awareness of the Neo Blockchain brand in Vietnam.

Motivation

• I am requesting funding to support the growth of the Neo blockchain community in Vietnam, as I believe Neo has significant potential to expand its presence here. Vietnam has a population of over 100 million people, cryptocurrency is not banned, and it is gaining strong attention from the public. However, Neo is still not widely known in Vietnam, and this information can be easily verified.
• By organizing regular giveaway events and rewarding active members, I aim to encourage the cryptocurrency community in Vietnam to join and explore the Neo ecosystem. The funding will be used to ensure the sustainable and long-term growth of the community.

Goals

• Attract new members to the Neo blockchain community in Vietnam, reward active members, and build a strong and sustainable community.
• Enhancing Neo Blockchain Brand Awareness in Vietnam.

Deliverables & Roadmap

• Total Estimated Duration: 6 months (Organize 4 giveaway events each month for 6 consecutive months)
• Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): 1
• Total Budget: 120 $GAS
• After 6 months, evaluate the campaign’s effectiveness and consider applying for additional funding if needed to further grow the community.

Deliverables Verifiability

Monthly Giveaway Program (4 events per month):
The success of each giveaway event can be verified by checking the official X page of Neo Vietnam, where the results will be publicly announced. Each giveaway event will have a clear list of 12 winners, with a total of 5 $GAS distributed among them. Detailed information about the event process and results will be shared transparently to ensure fairness and clarity.

Engagement and Participation:
Engagement activities can be verified by tracking posts and responses to posts on the official X page of Neo Vietnam. An increase in interaction metrics such as likes, comments, and shares will also serve as evidence of participation and the effectiveness of the activities.

Budget Plan

• The total required resources for this proposal are 120 $GAS, which will be fully used to fund the 6-month giveaway campaign.
• How the Winners Are Chosen
• Accounts from Vietnam (which can be verified by checking their posts, comments, and how they chat to see if they are using Google Translate or not...), members with positive engagement will have a higher chance of being selected.
• To ensure transparency and avoid fraud, winners will be asked to submit their Telegram username for verification. After each giveaway, the list of valid winners will be recorded as shown in the example below.

• Since the target audience is both people who already know and those who don’t know about Neo Blockchain in Vietnam (based on the results from running some giveaways, I can assess that most crypto enthusiasts in Vietnam are not familiar with Neo Blockchain), I want to keep everything as simple as possible so that anyone can participate.
• I can't predict how many people these giveaways can attract, but you can see that they are yielding results (you can check the follower count on X, Telegram, interactions, etc.).
• Regarding the small amount of money, my perspective is that the budget for community growth depends on the average income in each country and the campaign idea, and not every idea that requires a large budget is necessarily a good idea.
