Pocket Casts Media Notifications stopped working on Pixel 8 Pro

Description

This user reports that PC notifications stopped working suddenly. Previously, they fixed this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling, but they'd like to avoid that. Their notification permissions are enabled in their device.

PocketCasts previously displayed its "media playing" notification as a media notification, but it stopped working when I switched to the new phone. I'm attaching a screenshot of the media notification for another app (Deezer). Can you please help me to fix this issue?

Step-by-step reproduction instructions

1. Play Pocket Casts podcast on Android Pixel 8 Pro
2. Go to the Media notifications view and find no notifications there
3. Uninstall and reinstall the app to fix the issue

In the meantime, I've asked them to try disabling notification permissions for the app, and then re-enabling them 🤞

/Edit: Also ask them if they might have "Hide playback notification on pause" enabled under the Pocket Casts app's Profile > Settings (gear icon) > Notifications.
