Adding a Location/Address Name

I'm happy to make a pull request for this but wanted first to check if anyone else would find it useful? When using my map I would like to have access to a friendly name for the location in addition to or instead of the full or partial address details. I am migrating from Terratype Google Maps package and found it useful to have access to this feature.
