Basically you need the game key and TrueCrypt4.3a. A TrueCrypt partition can't be extended, you have to recreate it.

If you care about the existing games in the partition, you mount it with TrueCrypt (and the Key) and you backup the content of the partition.

Then using something like gparted (Linux) or ... something else on windows:

  1. Delete the partition
  2. Create a new partition NTFS of the maximum size
  3. Using TrueCrypt Create a new volume using a partition - Not a container as file - (use the partition you just created). Use the game Key and no password. When formatting choose quick format, otherwise it can take very long time !!!
  4. When done, restore the games ,if needed (after mounting the partition with TrueCrypt).

hi , thx for your help , i think the version of truecrypt is important to do it . but when i burn my original game image 32 go on a 120 g drive if i want to extend i cant use the free space that i can grab with this larger drive. i tested to delete the game partition and use the free space coming after (with linux windows cant ) but its like its not finding the game partition when i boot the ssd on the system .

You got to use TrueCrypt4.3a I think.
Now depends when you use truecrypt to "encrypt" the partition which format did you use (ntfs or fat) ?

i tested both in the past , but when i will have more times i will try again maybe a little mistake . i tested your mxstartup modified file it works ! so easy this way ! and well explained ! i dumped the ringedge 2 multi game key . do you know it ? games are on a second drive and each game are a .original file they are not like a classic game like an extracted game you know and i was wondering how you can open this .original file . i tested with truecrypt like a crypted file that will open and see game but no luck

For the RE2 Multi, all the games are in the same partition. If you mount this partition with truecrypt, you can see all games, the key is here on this repository. Maybe I misunderstood the problem ..

im not talking about the niko multi but the real multi that come with a red keychip there are 2 disks on with the system , i opened the game partition (7 )( on the game system ) and you find some .exe that launch the officials games on a second hard drive and games on the second drives are all in differents folders and each games are a big file with .original extension i thin its opened when the ring boot with all keys but how to open it dont know . if you want i can send you pics on how the games folder and partitions 7 look like

Well, I do not have the Real Multi .. only have the UC of the RE2.
Are the .original true crypt container ? Maybe an hex dump of the beginning can identify a truecrypt header ..

someone told me few mounth ago that it is a truecrypt container but i use the key dumped with your mx file but no luck dont know witch key open the .original file i can open the partition 7 but not games on the second drive .

Hard to help, I do not have the drive ... nothing much I can do. Maybe to mount the container it needs the key and a password .. just a hint.
You might check on the main drive is there are some "hidden file" (ADS files) somewhere, also partition 4 is an "update" drive, maybe there is something in there (it should be mountable using the same key as for Part 7)

I think if you work on the same project together, there are different options available.

I do have an email on my account of course, but really I can't send PM to you neither, I do not see any options for this !!
I think the direct emailing has been removed, after googling this it's possible to find the email in a commit but I do not think you have committed something.
