AligorithTools - Sublime Text Plugin

A random assortment of plugins/tools for improving my workflow in Sublime Text.

There are the following categories of tools:

  • Latex Tools - Utilities for making it more convenient to work with Latex. Most of these are specialist tools for dealing with the particular problems I have in my setup.

    • "Replace Quotes with \enquote{...}" / "Fix Quotes"
This replaces all the manual ``...'' type quotes with a \enquote{...} call, and all `...' quotes with \squote{...}. Also, it fixes any quotes which use Unicode curly quotes (e.g. copy-and-pasted from Word).

    • "Preview Quotes to \enquote{...}"
This highlights all the changes that the "Fix Quotes" tool will apply, making it easier to check if it will be well behaved in your file.

    • "Clear \enquote{...} Preview" This clears all the highlights that the "Preview" tool added (in case you decide to not go ahead).

  • General Tools - General text manipulation tools

    • "Toggle CamelCase / underscore__style"
Toggle between CamelCase and under_scores for the selected text. This is most useful when developing ST plugins, as you need to do this when mapping between the plugin code and the tool bindings/calling.

    • "Toggle Arrow / Dot Accessors" Toggle between . and -> accessors in C/C++ code using Alt-` (Alt + accent/tilde key). For example, this allows you to go between struct.member and struct->member. It works if the cursor sits before/in-between . or -> or if you've got multiple ones of these selected.

  • Color Tools - Tools to make it easier to work with colours

    NOTE: See https://github.com/Aligorith/Hex-to-RGBA

TODO: This is not currently implemented. But, the idea is that we'll have tools to do the following:

    1. Easily convert between all the various colour combinations (e.g. float vs byte vs hex RGB(A) values, and also between RGB and #Hexcodes, or RGB and HSV/L)
    2. Visualise colours under cursor (with the preview panels in ST3)
    3. Show colour pickers to choose colours (several different types should be possible)
    4. Provide autocomplete options list for XKCD / X11 / matplotlib-1-char / SVG colours (as appropriate). Probably will require some filetype + imports magic to figure out what we're most likely to want.

Requirements

These have only been tested with Sublime Text 2. It may be possible to run this with ST3 too, but I haven't tested them on there yet.
