What are the benefits of using this addon?

I'm curious, are there any benefits to using this addon in WHMCS instead of simply adding tracking code in the footer.tpl? Thanks.

1. Theme independence - if you switch your theme or update it your code will go away ;) I know is not a big deal to integrate it again but why ?
2. Proxy mode of tracking - using piwik.php which make proxy request to the real piwik instalation
3. For now is broken but we will fix it one day - ecomerce tracking like google analytics plugin.

Thanks. Yes, ecommerce would be nice.
The other thing I've been thinking about, is using WHMCS client database to populate and identify visitors in Piwiki using Visitor Profiles. That would be awesome.
