Was conceived as a smart and versatile solution, whose general idea is to create a system that is able to offer concrete home help to people who are facing the first stages of this disease, often characterized by memory loss and disorientation.
In addition, it was decided to create a support network built mainly by family members and extendable to therapists, who accompany and follow the family members / patients day after day in their cognitive and motor activities, as well as in medical therapies.
The skill in question uses technology to help contain the damage caused by the disease and represents a real virtual memory for the patient. Hence the choice of exploiting the intelligence of a voice assistant to manage mainly personal information, such as personal data and general information, information on relatives, reminders and timers.
In addition, in agreement with the therapists of the "Alzheimer Bari Onlus" Association, two exercises were implemented, respectively for linguistic and semantic memory, to act and contain cognitive decline.
