Multischeme datasets sometimes render incorrectly on import #118

Steps to reproduce:

Load any dataset which has only one scheme
Scroll down a bit
Load a dataset which has been partially coded under two code schemes

This happens:

Note that if you don't scroll first, or perform an import which replaces a two code scheme, this error does not occur.

as2388 added the bug label
