Required Information

  • AEM Version, including Service Packs, Cumulative Fix Packs, etc: On-premise 6.5.18 (servicepack 18)
  • ACS AEM Commons Version: 5.0.4
  • Reproducible on Latest? yes

Expected Behavior

Once Added new generic list under a new root path, expect able to publish it. For example: created generic list under /etc/acs-commons/lists/new-root/new-1 then should be able to publish it

Actual Behavior

Once Added new generic list under a new root path, we`re not able to publish it. For example: created generic list under /etc/acs-commons/lists/new-root/new-1 then error pop-up is being displayed.

Did below checking:

  1. Checked the permission via useradmin console, all access (read, modify, create, delete, replicate, read ACL, edit ACS) are there. Also tried to publish using administrator group or super user also encountering the same error.
  2. Checked workflow, there is no instance running related to this generic lists.
  3. Tried to copied the new generic-list under existing parent path for example /etc/acs-commons/lists/existing-root/new-root/new-1 then it is working fine. No publishing issue for all sub-generic under existing root path. we observed that this issue only happened in new root path, but not happen in existing root path.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to AEM Touch UI console -> Tools -> ACS AEM Commons -> Generic Lists
  2. Create a new Generic List root path under /etc/acs-commons/lists/new-root
  3. Then Create sub generic-list for example /etc/acs-commons/lists/new-root/new-1 & /etc/acs-commons/lists/new-root/new-2
  4. Add some records in the new generic lists (new-1 & new-2) then publish it, in our case the error pop-up is being displayed even publish with Admin ID or Super User ID.
