This is a popular service and it makes sense to have it blocked;
Service name
Apple ads and telemetry + any other telemetry system
Explanation
Hi,
I'm using AdGuard DNS.
I noticed that, with the basic filter, any url remotely related to Microsoft is blocked. Even Swiftkey, or a lot of others, breaking services. They have a clear privacy policy, and are quite busy with the 100 products and services they provide, Azure, satellites, you can read it, and clean up lists, at least put in a separate list like "Awesome acute paranoia Anonymous's List" :D catchy name.
Or keep on with the paranoid behavior... and block all telemetry services there are.
Moreover, Apple is the champion of privacy, a "human Right", which is despicable, using such a concept to sell void... when in fact they collect and track and share users information, collect plenty of telemetry (not an issue, but it seems so, so to be blocked) and has an ads business, and MacOs has terrible security features, inexistant. And they have no problem , for a few billions, to have Google as a default search engine, Google... the ads company, $232B in ads last year... 6/7 of their revenues...
Regarding telemetry:
Proton telemetry -> they merit to be studied a little, so much marketing...
I have nothing against the following, but as an example:
AdGuard's telemetry
Firefox telemetry
Ubuntu telemetry
In fact, it is so widely used (and for good reasons, this is an especially useful technology, but it is not understood by anyone, so be it) that ALL OS should be included, url collected and blocked, sometimes, like Microsoft, they offer a full list. But also, most applications, and all or almost all websites. But also, plugins, extensions, and other additions.
And let's not forget the telemetry inside connected objects, appliances, and cars...
That would be coherent and logical. It makes no sense, just like for Microsoft, but they really aren't the ones to be afraid of.
Apple is different, it makes a lot of sense.
Thank you in advance, and for your nice products.
