We receive a lot of queries about matlab. It would be good to have a MATLAB page which explains how it is not possible to run matlab on the compute nodes and some instructions on how you can run matlab on the login + data analysis nodes .

@lucaparisi91 Have you run Matlab successfully on the ARCHER2 login/DA nodes? If so, do you have a set of working instructions?

I have not, but Sebastiaan has, and it should be a matter to follow the instructions at https://uk.mathworks.com/help/compiler/install-the-matlab-runtime.html . Never got around actually testing it.
