Feature Request: Add Show/Hide Touch Keyboard button to Taskbar #9
Comments
It will be added in three dots "..." since I want to keep it clean as much as possible (for small devices like Lumia 950) |
I’d suggest you to do a bit differently. On small devices it makes sense to hide it in the … menu, but on a tablet, it doesn’t (you want to minimize customer’s frustration that is a result that a given app didn’t invoke a touch keyboard to pop up to begin with). Just put the icon to the right, and it’ll be it.

Why not both? Adapt it to screen size. It'll exist in the dots menu for small devices (phones) and it'll be expanded out on larger devices (tablets) |

Some apps (eg, some desktop messengers like VK Messenger, command prompt, etc.) don't automatically let the touch keyboard to popup. Tablet Mode allows one to have touch keyboard, so this is a feature parity request.
