[Question]: Unclear documentation for third party WMS #597
Comments
I have transferred the issue to the plugin side. Can you copy/paste your WMS datasource ? Layer properties → Info (masking some private data if needed) I will make a quick refactoring on that side. |
Thx for yout reply. What properties you mean exactly? The ones in the cfg file? Or from QGIS Project? Or the service URL? |
It should be te same, no ? |
Ah of course. Sorry for the confusion. Its an open service so you can try it out with it.

Hiya! |
This works now. I tested with Plugin Version 4.3.23 Thank you a lot for fixing this. |
Thanks for the feedback. |
What is the question? (in English)
There is an option to fetch content of third party WMS directly instead of routing it through the lizmap-qgis-server-stack. It is documented here: https://docs.lizmap.com/current/en/publish/lizmap_plugin/layers.html
One thing is, that I am not able to access the checkbox. The docs state it is available in the Third Party WMS layers group. I did create that and put an external layer into it. However I'm not able to access the checkbox:
My qgis project is in EPSG:2056 and the WMS layer is as well.
What is the suggested way to make this work?
