High CPU on OS X #2

The code in nodejs or the web version (chrome), both use very high cpu.
Im using:
OS X High Sierra v10.13.1
NODEJS v6.12.0
CHROME v62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Not sure what's causing this - ran the profiler in Chrome

I feel like by the very nature of blockchains, the CPU usage is fairly high when you are mining.
